Despite the snowstorm that seemed to cut off the eastern part of the Kingdom from the west and the northern groups off from the south, the first Kingdom Arts & Sciences competition was a reasonably good success -- considering. Those of us that made it there truly missed those who were snowed in or snowed out. There was wonderful food, lots of space for classes, performances, and exhibits, a chance to see many fine artifacts, and a chance to catch up with friends. Whether someone came to judge, compete, or just witness the day, there was much to see and do.
