Trimaris residents take part in Lee County Medieval Faire

The public was invited to step back into the Middle Ages recently when the Riverdale Kiwanis were joined by members of the Society for Creative Anachronism for the Lee County Medieval Faire. Joseph A. Gonzales of the News-Press has the story.

The two-weekend faire took place at Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres (Florida) and featured "exotic dishes," medieval crafts and a demonstration of armored combat by SCA members, to the delight of some young visitors.

Faire Location Update

The Riverdale Kiwanis Medieval Faire is usually held at Lakes Regional Park in Ft Myers FL. It was held at Veteran's Park in Lehigh for 2 years after hurricane Charley damaged Lakes Park. The faire has returned to Lakes Park and information about it can be found on its website
