Free Library of Philadelphia introduces digital manuscript collection

The Free Library of Philadelphia has announced a new digital collection of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts available to be viewed on its website. The collection includes both complete manuscripts and single leaves with information about the work.

The Free Library of Philadelphia collection features books dating from between 1000 and 1500 C.E. including Bibles, books of poetry, philosophy and history. The website is not yet searchable, but future plans will include a Digital Scriptorium for easier access.
