Merchanting at Canterbury Faire

Lord Bartholomew has posted information regarding merchanting at the upcoming Canterbury Faire in the Barony of Southron Gaard (New Zealand). The Faire takes place February 1-6, 2007.

Bartholomew writes:

Greetings,

Merchants of good standing are welcome to display their wares at Canterbury Faire in the fine Barony of Southron Gaard (no mud, no dust, no venomous fauna) February next.

The Faire Market will be held on Saturday the third, after lunch. All merchants are welcome and no faire taxes are charged for any who have goods to sell.

Should you wish to let Faire-goers know of your fine wares, we would be delighted to provide you with space to post your news and announcements. This may prove particularly advantageous for those traveling from far afield, to both whet the appetite of potential customers and, possibly, to provide a point of contact for any who wish to arrange a pre-order so you can be confident of sales.

Contact the undersigned if you wish to take up this offer.

For merchants planning to make Canterbury Faire a regular stopping point, inexpensive storage on site is available for you to store your wares between Faires. More information on this can be seen at: http://sg.sca.org.nz/events/cfeating.htm#storage

More general information on Canterbury Faire's Market can be found here: http://sg.sca.org.nz/events/cfgenactivities.htm#market

In service,

Bartholomew
