Lord Christopher Blackthorne, viceroy of the Shire of New Exeter, the Jefferson City, Missouri chapter of the Adrian Empire, helped bring the Middle Ages to life for a crowd of spectators recently at the Mark Twain National Forest near Guthrie, Missouri, recently. Michelle Brooks of the Jefferson City News Tribune
had the story.
"This is a chance to be who you've always wanted to be," said Lord Christopher. "And it's relaxing, a chance to not worry about mundane responsibilities."
The Shire of Exeter was formed in January, 2006. The recent encampment was held to introduce the public to the group's activities.
