Arts on Display at the Tavern at Kingdom's Edge

Garry and Pamela Dick of the Kingdom of AEthelmearc shared their bookbinding skills recently at the Tavern on the Edge of the Kingdom event in Barboursville, West Virginia. The event was covered by Rachel Gensler for the Herald-Dispatch.

A focus of the event was to recreate the mood of a medieval tavern. Garry Dick said, "What we are trying to do is set a mood so that anyone who comes up will believe that for a moment, and just for a moment, that we have been transported back to the Middle Ages. And what a magical moment it is."
