General Site Information
Site opens at 9am; closes at 10:30pm. Holiday-themed clothing is encouraged (red, green, gold, etc.). Baron Garth & Baroness Kassia will be in attendance to oversee the festivities. Members of the local Marine Corps will be in attendance to collect toys. Handicapped accessible. Unconfirmed reports from reliable sources suggest that Santa Claus may make an appearance! NO pets allowed, but service animals always welcome. Toys collected will be added to those collected by the WMU libraries. This is a DRY site. Site fees:
One unwrapped, new toy (worth at least $5), age 5 and above -- OR -- $5.
Non-members -- $3 and a toy, or $8 (non-member surcharge $3)
Children under 5 are free.
Merchants "pay" site fee of one toy, plus one additional toy to merchant.
All fighters "pay" site fee of one toy, plus one additional toy to enter the heavy and/or light lists.
Directions: Take your best route to Exit 80 on I-94 on the southeast side of Kalamazoo. Take Sprinkle Road north from Exit 80 to the 4 lane I-94 Business Loop and turn left. Your first intersection will be Olmsted Road. Turn right on Olmsted and proceed to your first stop sign at Lake Street. Turn left on Lake and look for the Kalamazoo Fairgrounds entrance on your left.
