Hosted by the Barony of Brendoken, this year's Bardic Madness featured a nautical theme. Challenges were offered by the event planners, and members of the populace were encouraged to become "patrons" of each challenge and offer largesse to the participants. There were no winners and losers, just an appreciation of everyone's fine efforts to entertain and inspire. Laurels from near and far brought honor to their home kingdoms, for though they were guests and well-entitled thereby to just relax, they insisted on pitching in with cleanup chores after the feast.
As the day drew to a close, the guests were treated to a wonderful feast with a seafood theme and lots of vegetarian-friendly entrees. For those who were still not ready to end the day's festivities, a bardic circle and post-revel rounded out a day of superb performances, delicious food, and friendship.

Northshield too!

More than just one.

My bad...sorry
I've updated the story to reflect Northshield's representation. Please accept my apologies for the oversight; no slight was intended. Or, as the NYT would say, "SCAtoday.net regrets the error."
