The current dig is part of a six-year project undertaken in the area by the University of Winchester, Somerset County Council and English Heritage. "If there is one villa, then the chances are that others will be found in due course," said Dr Keith Wilkinson, from Winchester University.
Mosaics Highlight Roman Villa Discovery

Archaeologists have discovered "evidence of a substantial Roman villa with a mosaic floor in the main room" in the Quantock Hills of Somerset, England. The site is one of the most westerly Roman villas yet found in England.
