The Barony of Caerthe will be hosting its Fortress Benefit event this Saturday the 23rd of September in Aurora Co. The event is called the Fortress Defender and will include a full day of heavy fighting, fencing and archery as well as the traditional Fortress benefit auction/raffle. The day will be packed with scenarios, including battles to control the castle that will be constructed. Other details are included below in the flyer for the event.

Lunch and dinner is being offered at the event as well. The Lady Maj is making meat pies with salad for lunch, and there will be hearty soup, bread and salad for dinner. Lunch and Dinner are 5.00 apiece unless you contact me prior to the event to order both then they will be 8.00 combined.

A barony of Caerthe event to help support the cost of distributing the FORTRESS newsletter. Event will include heavy fighting , fencing, archery, and boffers for the kids. There will be the traditional Fortress benefit raffle/auction. If you have any items you want to donate for the raffle or auction please contact the autocrat or bring the items the day of the event. For fighters interested in the Caerthen baronial unbelted tournament at 12th night. One of the qualifiers will also be held at this event.

Cost: $5.00 per person ($3.00 non-member surcharge)
Lunch: $5.00 per person (meat pie, salad and drink)
Dinner: $5.00 per person (hearty soup, bread and drink. Meat pies if there are any left over from lunch)
