This group is dedicated to the study of 13th century European clothing and related subjects. Clothing between 1200 and 1300 was generally characterized by tight sleeves and a loose-fitting body. The Maciejowski Bible is pictured in many books on the Middle Ages and demostrates the basic style that dominated the century.
