Reporter Visits Border Skirmish

Gwen H. Jader of the Daily Herald Correspondent (Chicago, Illinois area), stepped back into the past at the recent Border Skirmish event, which was co-hosted by the Shire of Ravenslake in the Midrealm and the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr in Northshield.
Jader interviewed several SCA members including Adam Velez of Vernon Hills: "I joined 16 years ago because of a love of history," said Adam Velez of Vernon Hills. "It's fun to relive portions of the Middle Ages. Because we're more removed from that time period, there's more romance to reliving that time."
