* Chag HaGez is a sheep shearing festival celebrated in biblical times, traditionally done in the spring. A portion was then tithed to the Priests, as it is written in Deut., 18:4 "The first-fruits of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, shall you give him (the Priests)".

Maale Levona is the only place that celebrates this, and a Priest will be given a portion of the fleece.

In addition, several members of the Shire of Maale Giborim will be present to do a tablet weaving demo and possibly a Viking wire knitting demo. Location:
Maale Levona, Israel
