Kensington Runestone May Hold Secret Code

Ben Tracy of Minneapolis' WCCO reports on the "secret code" contained in the famous Kensington Runestone. The stone, discovered 100 years ago near Alexandria, Minnesota, bears a carved inscription dating to 1362.

Always controversial, the Kensington Runestone is either proof that Vikings traveled to the New World or an elaborate hoax. Now, with the success of The Da Vinci Code, researchers including geologist Scott Wolter and Texas engineer Dick Nielsen are looking for secrets in the runes.
