Birds of a Feather Archery Extravaganza

description:
Greetings to one and all! We archers usually come in third for consideration of time and space. Not this time! This one is for us, the so-called "wimps" who have, throughout history, often been the deciding factor in a battle, not to mention putting food on the table.

Come hone your skills at the many scenarios we have planned. Prove your ranking during an IKAC. Strengthen your endurance with a round of golf. Sharpen your eye with a dragon hunt. Show your worth with a castle shoot. Practice shooting vermin with a game of barchery. Take your chances with a game of cards. Test your precision with a tower shoot. Then prove your courage and skill with a boar shoot. There will also be food aplenty and games of chance in the evening hours. Come join the fun and camaraderie. The site is discreetly wet (for those of age).

Directions: Take your best route to Clovis, NM (due to local mundane laws, we can't post SCA signs through town)

Coming from the West on Hwy 60/84: go to the intersection of Prince St. and 60/84. Turn left (North) onto Prince St. and travel approximately 8 miles. Continue out of town to County Road 17. You will see the SCA sign on the right, at CR17. The site is 1.5 miles down CR17 on the left side.

From the North (Tucumcari): CR17 is the next left after Ned Houk Park. The SCA sign will be on the left just after the road so, start slowing down after the park sign.

From the South into Clovis via Portales on Hwy 70: go to the intersection of 60/84 and Prince St (Hwy 70 turns into Prince St. through town). Continue north through town to CR17.

From the East on Hwy 60/84 (Farwell, TX): head west to the intersection of 60/84 and Prince St., turn right and head out of town to CR17.
