AEthelmearc Royal Court Held in Rhydderich Hael

September 14, 2002, Their Majesties AEthelmearc, James and Elina, held court in Their Barony of Rhydderich Hael. Here follows the report of happenings in Their court. Being the report for the Court of Their Royal Majesties, James and Elina, King and Queen of AEthelmearc, with Their Excellencies, Otto and Geirny, Baron and Baroness of the Rhydderich Hael in attendance. Court held September 14, AS 37 in Their Canton of Beau Fleuve at Summer's End. Edmund Tregelles, reporting herald with the assistance of Anlon Find mac Robartaigh.

Tancred and Rosalinda, Baron and Baroness of Rising Waters were invited to join Their Majesties on the dais.

Their Excellencies, Otto and Geirny, were given leave to hold their baronial court.

Their Majesties witnessed Master Ivan ap Myrddin take Lord John Michael Thorpe as a protege.

Allistair of the Rhydderich Hael was awarded arms in absentia for his accomplishments in heavy weapons fighting and fencing, as well as his work at demos and with set-up. Scroll by Lady Mea the Bold and Duchess Anna Blackleaf.

Augusto Giuseppe di San Donato was awarded arms in absentia for his work as baronial steward, his work as leader of set-up and clean-up, as well as his generous and hospitable nature. Scroll by Lady George Anne and Edmund Tregelles.

William Freskyn Murray was inducted into the Order of the Keystone for a wealth of service, including baronial knight marshal and retainer. No scroll was available.

Michael the Tinker was made a Companion of the Keystone in absentia for his work as a tinker, which had benefitted the Kingdom in many ways. Scroll by Dame Margaret Makafee.

Cynwyl MacDaire of Land's End was inducted into the Order of the Sycamore for his accomplishments in diverse arts and sciences, including bone and horn carving, tool making, and hide tanning. Scroll by Lady George Anne.

Alicia of the Rhydderich Hael was made a Companion of the Sycamore in absentia for her accomplishments in the fibre arts. Scroll by Lady Kris Gilibari and Mistress Daedrae MacBeth a Gryphon.

Susan of Fox Meadow was inducted into the Order of the White Horn in absentia for excellence in thrown weapons. Scroll by Lord AEryck Blackhart.

Aine nic Llyr was made a Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Pelican and granted arms by letter patent for her work as Chirurgeon. Speaking in favor of her elevation were Countess Caryl Olesdottir, LR, Earl Yngvar the Dismal, KSCA, Master Charles the Serene, OL, Mistress Cori Ghora, OP, Master Brocc of Alderden, OP, Sir Matthias Sean Cameron, KSCA; as well as representatives of the fighting, fencing, archery, and thrown weapons communities, and the general populace, Scroll by Dona Elisa Inn Rau Hara.
