Raglan Fair

The shire of Mynydd Gwyn does announce the very great festival of Raglan fair. The Castle's Stewards CADW (The Welsh National Heritage Trust) were so pleased with our presence last year, that they have given us permission to use all parts of the castle in all manner of Noble emprises of Arms Bridges, Gateways, Courtyards, Towers, Small Chambers, Large Chambers, Doorways, and Donjons all will be the scenes of our affairs. Ambuscades, Escalades, assaults, defences, pas de armes, prize playings, Behourds, tourneys, Challenges, Hastilitudes and Grand Melees shall all be held, Both in Harness in combat a plaisance, and without as in Defencing, both inspired by the honour of our ladies and consorts and our companions in arms on the field.
