Melee Madness: Central War Practice

description:
Madness comes to the Barony of Endless Hills. Melee Madness that is. We have not one, but two events at the same time and place! If your interests are towards martial pursuits, you are in for a treat! Heavy weapons activities include a singles tourney, a warlord tourney and melees, melees, melees! Combat archery is allowed at this site but target archery is not. Martially inclined, but heavy weapons are not to your liking? We will be having both a fencing tournament and a thrown weapons tournament to satisfy those inclinations. An Arts and Sciences Competition will be held as well and don't forget, for those camping Saturday night we'll have our famous Melee Madness Bardic Circle.

What about feast you are probably asking yourself. Well, we here in Endless Hills are proud to announce the return of Sir Murdoch Bayne as Head Cook! Come and enjoy the dishes of a culinary great whose reputation is known throughout the Kingdom!

The event will be held at Camp Lackawanna at 265 Vosburg Neck Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657. The site opens at 9am Saturday and closes at noon on Sunday. The site is BONE DRY. Leashed pets are welcome! Please come join us for a day of melees, merriment and a meal to tickle your taste buds!

Offboard fees are $9.00 for those 18 years of age and older, $8.00 for ages five through 17 and FREE for those under the age of five! Feast is an additional $8 per adult and $7 per person between the ages of five and 17 and $1 for those five and under. Lunch will be tavern style and a pancake breakfast fundraiser will be held Sunday morning for those staying Saturday night. Camping will be available for $11 per person to sleep in one of the cabins (min. 3 per cabin) and $6 per person tenting. Merchants are welcome with a reservation. Reservations can be mailed to Scott Macek, 352 Heather Highlands, Pittston, PA 18640. Checks are made out to "Barony of Endless Hills, SCA Inc."
