Amberg, Germany CHANGE OF SITE
[Please note that fencers and fighters are welcome. You may find the break refreshing after Whack! Thud! Ow! and may even find some fun to be had. For those wishing to work on other A&S items fight, you are welcome to bring your projects gear and work play in the Feast Hall parking lot.]
Site Information:
Amberg Army Training Site (no street address)
a part of the US and German training area between Autobahn 6 and Amberg.
Directions to Site:
Please make your best route to A6 in the direction
of Amberg and the Czech border. Exit the autobahn at the Amberg Ost exit
and turn toward Amberg. You are now traveling on B85. Follow B85 for
approximately 3.6 km until you see the small brown signs for the Go-Karts
(right) and Sandgrube Bernreuther (left). This comes up quickly so be
prepared! Turn left toward Sandgrube Bernreuther. Turn left again onto
the tank trail. Follow this until you reach the first paved road on the
right. Turn right onto this road. There is a four-way intersection almost
immediately, turn right and follow this road to the event site. Be
careful, the road is in poor condition. The way will be posted from the
autobahn exit with SCA signs.
From Amberg, make your best route to the traffic circle located almost half way between the ACC and the bahnhof. Exit the traffic circle onto B85 toward Cham/Regensburg. Follow B85 for approximately 6.1 km. As you pass the Englehardt buildings, you will see the small brown signs for the Go- Karts (left) and Sandgrube Bernreuther (right). This comes up quickly so be prepared! Turn right toward Sandgrube Bernreuther. Turn left onto the paved tank trail. Follow this until you reach the first paved road on the right. Daytrip with feast 10 Euros

SCA members may deduct 2 Euros with valid proof of membership
Instructors may deduct 2 Euros
Children 4-12 are price; babes 3 and under are free
no family pays more than 40 Euros
