Mixed Verdict in Colorado Renaissance Faire Case

A Colorado judge ruled recently that the Colorado Renaissance Festival could continue to operate in the town of Larkspur, but must pay the town US$96,000 for water consumption.

The town had previously sued the festival for more than US$1 million for overdue water bills and wastewater cleanup. The festival has operated in the town since 1982 and brings in over US$400,000 annually in tax revenues.
