Ides of March Feast

Back by popular request…the Cynaguan Culinary Guild invites you to join in an enchanted evening in Arab Spain. We have carefully chosen a menu of Middle Eastern delights, which will entice even the most critical palate which includes four courses beginning with appetizers and ending with a superb assortment of desserts and refreshing Moroccan Tea.  

Please bring your drums… rugs will be provided for dancing.  There will be a duct tape artifact contest, rock/paper/scissors tournament, a contest for the best impersonation of Monty Python's Sir Robin, and please bring your most hideous accessory for the "Revolting Accessory" contest.  We will be having a raffle…the cost of your feast tickets will include 3 tickets.   Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

Site Information:
The site is Emanuel First Baptist Church (1100 12th Street, Sparks, NV).  The Site opens at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. and lingerers will be drafted.  Tickets for the feast are $15.00 for adults, youths 10 to 13 $6.00 and under 10, free.  The non-member sur-charge will be paid for by the Culinary Guild.  Please make checks payable to "SCA, Inc.  Silver Desert".  

Tickets will be available for sale through March 13, 2006.

Take I-80 to Sparks, NV. Take the Pyramid Way exit and go north to Oddie Blvd. (about 1 mile).  Turn left on Oddie Blvd. and go to the first stop light (12th Street).  Turn left and the church is just past the park on the left, across the street from the Library.
