Shire of Esfenn to Simulate Armageddon

Leohtulf of the Silver Hills reports that National Geographic will have a team of videographers to film the Shire of Esfenn's fighter practice in Hayward, California March 5, 2006. The practice will be used as footage for the Battle of Armageddon.

According to Leohtulf, the shoot will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Sorensdale Park in Hayward. Anyone interested in participating should be at the park and in armor at that time. The footage of the battle will be used for CGI modeling.

Directions to the park:
Take your best route to Hwy 92 and 880 in Hayward. From 880, take 92 East to Santa Clara St. It is the first right. Right on Santa Clara, and follow it around to the left where it becomes Harder. Take Harder to Jane and turn Right. Follow Jane to the end, the park will be on the right, near the end of Jane.

Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled - the filmmaker's computer folks decided they would use other means to do this. The filmmaker said she'd contact Leohtulf again if other needs like this arise.
