10th Annual Tournament of the White Hart

The Shire of Port Oasis is preparing to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Tournament of the White Hart. Come join us for a weekend of love, honor, and chivalry. The heavy weapons tournament will decide who possesses the honor, chivalry, and skill to become the next Champion of the White Hart. We also offer you a fencing tournament, children's activities, an arts and science competition, and more. Silent Heraldry services will also be available.

This event of courtly love and honor will take place at the Barboursville Four H Camp (4H Camp Road, Barboursville, WV 25504.) The site will open to guests at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and close promptly at noon on Sunday. Cabins sleeping up to 18 are available by advance registration. Bunks are available for $2 a night by advance registration. The bunks are available with separate accommodations for lords and ladies. There are also numerous motels within four miles of site. Merchants must pre-register due to limited space. This is a discretely damp site. No smoking is permitted inside the buildings.

Mistress Lenora of the Willows (Donna Mallabone alenorawillow@yahoo.com) will be preparing a special lunch and feast in honor of our tenth anniversary.

White Hart fees are as follows: Adults Off-Board $9, Feast $7, Children 12 and under off board will be $5, Children 12 and under for feast will be $4, babes-in-arms are free. The Tournament of the White Hart is located on 4-H Camp Road in Huntington, WV.

Take Interstate 64 to Barboursville, West Virginia (between Huntington and Charleston). Take Exit 18 (Barboursville, Rt. 60 and Rt. 2). At the end of the ramp turn south toward Route 60. Go .2 miles and turn right on Rt. 60 West towards Barboursville. Go 1.5 miles. At the fourth stop light, turn left on Alt. 10 South. Go one mile and turn left onto 4-H Camp Road.
