Bringing Cornish Castles to Life on World Wide Web

Students from three Cornish schools today supported the Royal Cornwall Museum's (in partnership with English Heritage) new initiative to develop an exciting interactive learning experience today in Truro.

The aim is to provide interactive, informative learning resources about life in a medieval castle, based on four local castles; Restormel, Tintagel, Pendennis and Launceston. The group of 35 10- to 14-year-olds explored the museum, looked at different types of labeling, and created their own labels for objects in a Super Learning Day designed to involve the young people in the development of the project.
