College of Three Ravens

Readin', Writin', and 'Rithmatic, while indeed meritorious subjects of study, are NOT among those being offered at The College of Three Ravens. Classes will include a myriad of topics on historical practices, as well as those regarding our Society's activities in these Current Middle-Ages!!! Subject matter includes scholarship in the finer arts, specialized sciences, and medieval combat (yes, fighting classes, too!). Plus, there will be ample opportunity to actually practice these many pastimes (pun not intended). Education, Fencing, Fighting, Dancing, Drumming, and more will surely sate the intellectual and competitive cravings of adults and children alike!

There will be a heraldic consult table, an area for bardic activities, a scribal activities table, an `Ask a Laurel' table, a `Meet & Greet' for Aethelmearc's new Brewer's Guild, and also a raffle to raise funds for creating Kingdom award medallions.

The esteemed diversions commence at 9am Saturday, February 25th 2006 at the McQuaid Jesuit High School (1800 South Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY), and will continue throughout the day until 10pm. This is a dry site. Consumption of alcohol there will lose us future use of it. Open flames, however, are permitted for dining! Smoking is permitted only outside, away from the building entrances.

A sideboard lunch will be prepared courtesy of the very skilled Lady Mairghread ne Stilbhard uu Coinn. The variety of tantalizing dishes to be included in the evening's fine, English-style feast will be prepared by The Cauldron Bleu Cooks Guild, under the supervision of Lady Bryn ni MacRose.

Feast is limited to the first 96 paid reservations and is rapidly filling up. Don't delay and end up disappointed by being left out, send yours in today! Should the need arise, there will be moderate seating available for offboard dining.

We have been blessed with an abundance of outstanding teachers! There is a full schedule of classes organized by THL Pleasance de Coignieres & Mateo il Pulisci Chieza. Complete class listings are available on the event website at The actual class schedule will be up on the web page just prior to the event.
