Friedrich Ethelred aus Schloss Trier, Estrella War XXII Internal Publicity Deputy, has announced that there will be a 40th birthday party for the SCA at this year's Estrella War.

When: Friday, February 17th 2006 - 7:30 - 9:30 PM
Where: The Grand Court Pavilion

The Crowns of Atenveldt, Caid, Outlands, and Artemisia invite everyone attending Estrella War XXII to come to a special party to celebrate the SCA's 40th birthday (yes, the SCA is 40 years old as of 2006!!) The SCA started as a costume party for a few friends in someone's backyard in 1966, and has grown to be an international organization. What better way to mark this special anniversary of our Current Middle Ages than to come celebrate like it's 1966?

The SCA 40th Year Celebration Party will be held 7:30 to 9:30 PM, Friday, February 17th at the Grand Court Pavilion. The Crowns of the Principal Kingdoms will be there, and it is their wish that everyone come enjoy refreshments, dancing, a heavy weapons tournament, and many more wondrous activities! All members of the populace are invited to share this festive evening of historical memories.
