I am hosting another Charity Sheep to Shawl over President's Day Weekend, Feb 17-20 (yes, this is Estrella weekend). This activity will be taking place in Santa Clara, CA (near San Jose, 1 hour south of San Francisco). This year the finished products will actually be scarves! :-) The finished scarves will be donated to a local Battered Women's Shelter.

We will be starting with several sheep's wool fleeces (roving, actually), spinning the yarn, and then weaving/crocheting/knitting the scarves over one weekend. This Sheep to Shawl will be done where everyone will be working together as One team to produce as many scarves as possible.

If you Spin, Weave, Crochet, Knit, are interested in helping with the production, or would like to cook for this group, and are interested in participating, please let me know!

Overnight space will be happily arranged.

If you would be interested in participating, please contact me directly for more information at:

P.S. Please feel free to pass this on to other lists where you think people might be interested. Thanks!
