Knitting Olympics

On the Historic Knitting List, Gabrielle reports that a blogger named the Yarn Harlot is challenging knitters to take part in a Knitter's Olympics to coincide with the Olympic Games.

Gabrielle writes:

"The basic rules are: you must cast on the project when the Olympic flame is lit on Feb. 10, and the project must be completed by the time the Olympic flame is put out on Feb. 26. The project must be personally challenging but not so hard that you can't possibly get it done in 16 days. Yup, 16 days!"
