Falconry Activities at Gulf Wars

Brianna McBain of the Saint Bavon's Company of Falconry has announced that the group has activities and classes planned for the upcoming Gulf Wars 15.

Greetings all! On behalf of the newly-chartered Saint Bavon's Company of Falconry, I'd like to tell you about the falconry activities we have planned for the upcoming Gulf Wars:

Wed. 3/15

  • 8:00am-11:00am Opening Ceremonies (birds in the grand procession)
  • 12:00 noon-1:00pm Falconry Meet and Greet (everyone should be there with their birds)
  • 4:00pm-5:00pm Medieval Falconry class-taught by Master Eule, Baron von Haginbald

Thurs. 3/16

  • 12:00noon-1:00pm Making the Dutch Hood -HL Friederick von Blumenkamp
  • 4:00pm-5:00pm Imping the Deck Feathers of the Red-tailed Hawk -Master James Cunningham

Sat. 3/18

  • 10:00am-11:00am Making a Falconry Lure -Michael de Hauville
  • 1:00pm-2:00pm Flying Demonstration (all are invited to fly their birds)

All these activities will be taking place in the Kennel Lands.

I hope you get a chance to observe or participate in some of these classes and demos. Because we are an inter-kingdom company, our charter will also be brought before many of the other kingdom courts as well.
