An Dun Theine Winter Arts Collegium

Join members of the Society for Creative Anachronism from all around the South in classes on all aspects of the Middle Ages.

Our theme this year is the 14th century-the height of Chivalry and the dawn of the Renaissance.

Classes will be available for both Adults and Children and is open to the general public.

Period Costume is encouraged- and loaner costumes will be available for those who would like to join in the fun!

University of Alabama Huntsville's University Center in Huntsville, AL.

$6.00 (day trip no feast) no reservations needed
$3 discount for SCA members and students with proof of membership/ID (includes children 6-17)

This is a one-day, no feast event. The College cafeteria will be open and several fast food restaurants are in the area for lunch. That evening, arrangements are currently being made for an After Collegium dinner at a local restaurant.

Site is currently set to open at 9:00 and classes begin at 9:30. There are several Hotels in the area and Crash space will be available for teachers and/ or travellers.

From the north-east (Chatanooga): take Highway 72 southwest to I-565 into Huntsville. Exit 15 right (north) onto Sparkman Drive. Take a right, then an IMMEDIATE left on Ben Graves Drive (the third light). Turn right into the parking lot past Morton Hall. The University Center is on the far side of the lot. From all other directions: Take your best route to I-65 heading toward north Alabama. Exit east on I-565. Take Exit 15 to Sparkman drive going north (left) and follow the directions above.
