Regia Anglorum Re-enactors Make Saxon Village Dream a Reality

The Wychurst Project in West Stow brings an Anglo-Saxon village to life for a group of re-enactors. "There is a dream that all re-enactors have. That somewhere there is a special place for them."

This is the dream of Regia Anglorum, a British re-enactment group that has begun work on two acres of woodland in Kent. Plans are to reconstruct an 11th century fortified manor house with a 60x30' longhall. Work is voluntary and ongoing.
