Champions of the Court of Love

-00-00
After a winter of secret longing, the time has come for lovers to declare their hearts through deeds of prowess and chivalry. Those who strive towards the arts of combat (in full armour, in light armour, and with bow and arrow) challenge to win roses for their consorts; artisans vie to show how love inspires their crafts; and troubadours of all sorts sing songs and tell tales of passions glorious and tragic. Here the fighters contest for chivalry and courtesy at their purest, as their consorts display their skills of inspiration; here crafter and singer prove that love may shape all things. Come and rejoice in the Court of Love!

Contests shall also be acclaim and prizes for best feast setting, most appropriate day, and feasting garb. The populace shall judge much by acclaim. Details of all contests shall be on the website in due course, or you can get details from the event steward.
