Delaware farm tourist experiences range from Wild West to medieval Europe

The News Journal describes several examples of "agritourism" in the state of Delaware, including Baronage Farm in Townsend.

"Here we are trying to re-create the medieval way of life," said co-owner Laura Krutul, who noted that the goal is to make the farm as historically accurate as possible -- and to eventually get rid of electricity and other modern amenities at the site.

The farm currently hosts fighter practices and small tournaments, but hopes to add a jousting field, a castle fa├žade, and a blacksmith's forge in the coming year.
