Quest for Camelot V - May 16-17-18, 2003
Custer Mountain Campground
Campground Road, Hwy 16A
Custer, South Dakota 57730
In the beautiful Black Hills
In its second year as a Northshield Principality Event, Quest for Camelot is a fun multi-kingdom event with the Outlands and Artemisia. We are back at Custer Mountain Campground, which is a long valley between rocky cliffs and towering pine trees. Those who came to Quest III may remember the woods battle featuring a huge, natural rock wall. Our marshals are already planning their strategy!
It's a great site for archery, and the fencing will be outstanding. Visit the craftspeople at the Village Faire. Go on a Pilgrimage and enter the Arts & Sciences Competitions -- there is one for all entries with divisions for Peer, Populace and Youth, and one design for the Camelot theme. Use any media, and show us your best representation of Camelot. A special prize is planned. This year we are encouraging documentation, and those entries with reasonable documentation will have points added to their score. A&S entries and Pilgrimage participation all contribute to an A&S war point. There will be children's activities including Youth Boffer, and a concert by the Northshield Choir.
