Benjamin Gabriel Gould was born at 11:27 am on Thursday, 11/24. What a way to spend our Thanksgiving! He weighed 7 pounds (3.2 kg) and was 19 3/4 inches (50 cm) long at birth. For those who haven't seen them, CG (daddy) has posted pics on our website [linked below].He was in the special care nursery (NICU) for a few days because of blood sugar and jaundice, but he's home now and doing really well.
We're all settling in, and looking forward to getting to know Benjamin. I'm recovering from my c-section, which was un-fun, but bearable. I had a few complications after having him after he was born so I was separated from him for 24 hours. So now we're spending lots of time snuggling and getting to know each other. Rowan loves being a big sister, and is already a big help with him.
Thanks for all the well wishes we've received....everyone is so wonderful!
