Citadel 12th Night: The Italian Renaissance

Buon Giorno one and all. The time is 1564 and Italy is seeing a change for the better. Michelangelo completed the dome of St. Peter's Church in Rome, Galileo Galilei was born near Pisa, the municipal palace of Genoa was built, and Francesco de' Medici became Duke of Florence. It is truly a time to rejoice and celebrate even here in the Citadel of the Southern Pass as we invite all to Citadel's 12th night - The Italian Renaissance.

To start the weekend's festivities we put forth tournaments of heavy and light at Tobin Park (right across from the hall) in hopes to display the prowess, skill, honor, and chivalry of the great fighters of the Outlands for all to see. During the tournaments don't forget to taste the exquisite donation lunch being provided by the wonderful Shire of Nahrun Kabirun with all monies going to the Kingdom Travel Fund.

Upon completion of the tourneys the populace shall take leave to prepare themselves for an evening of high court and a fine feast following at the Tobin Park hall. During the evening festivities there shall be a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Kingdom Travel fund and entertainment to keep one and all in fine spirits. Please contact Sheik Omar Mohammud Mirzazadeh at john.sandstrom@sbcglobal.net for more information about the silent auction.

Should this not be enough there will also be WAR! Practice on the following Sunday at Memorial Park, which will continue till the last man stops. So prepare your finest Italian Renn for a weekend of good friends and a grand time.
