Pfc. Samuel D. White of the Marine Corps took a step back in time recently when he interviewed Lord Wolfgan (Staff Sgt. Brian Neldner) at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training in New River, North Carolina. His story appears on the website for the Marine Corps.

Lord Wolfgan became acquainted with the SCA while stationed in Okinawa. He has been a member for 15 years.

'"Sword fighting," sparked Neldner. "It caught my eye and I had to do it. I was young, energetic and couldn't just watch. I had to get out there and wail into somebody."'
