Activities for the day will include a series of Reindeer games (such as pin the nose on the reindeer, sled races, a pinata, and a ornament making contest). Some activities planned may be changed based on the weather. There will also be a Bells and Pillows tourney to determine our Lord and Lady of Misrule. The children will have a seperate tourney (age adjusted) to determine the Pages of Misrule. A Chinese style gift exchange will be held after dinner. Please bring a wrapped present if you wish to participate. In respect of peoples dietary needs, and of UAF dorm rules, no food or candles as present choices please.
Contests for this event are Best Non-alcoholic Beverage and Best Alcoholic Beverage. There is also a contest for best period finger food desert. Documentation always gets you extra points :)
Dinner is a potluck feast. Please bring a dish to share that will feed at least eight. An Oerthan bird will be provided by the Autocrat. Bardic and even possibly dancing will follow the feast and gift exchange/chinese auction. Please bring a songbook if you have one. If you wish to have a copy of a songbook, please contact Baroness Margery.
Site will open at 12:00 noon and will close at 12:00 midnight. Site fee is $5.00 and children 5 and under are free. The event is located at the Grange Hall in North Pole Alaska off of Grange Road. Please email Lady Barbara de la Cara Roja at firstname.lastname@example.org for directions.
