Company of the White Swan Proposes Pennsic Pas d'Arms

Daffyd Rosensoldat, a Companion of the Company of the White Swan in AEthelmearc, reports that the Company is seeking to hold a Pas d'Arms at Pennsic and invites combatants to join them. In a post to the AEthelmearc list, Daffyd Rosensoldat reported that the Company of the White Swan is considering hosting a Pas d'Arms at Pennsic 32. The plan would be to have 12 combatants (or more) hold a field of honor on Sunday August 10 from 4:00-6:00 pm with full pomp and circumstance. The tournament would be as authentic as they can make it, including heralds, musicians and banners waving.

The Company will also host a re-creation of the Pas d'Arms of Charlemagne's Tree (1443) April 25-27, 2003 at Axes & Ales in the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle.
