Moniz, a member of the Fantasies and Legends Organization (FALO) as well as Mensa and the SCA, felt underchallenged most of her life until she found her hobbies in her 30s. Now she enjoys belly dancing, even after being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare joint disease that can severely impair movement.
