Historic Koran Stolen from Topkapi Palace

Historylinks: Thieves have stolen a 15th century copy of the Koran from the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. An historic, handwritten copy of the Koran has been stolen from a sealed case in one of Turkey's busiest museums this week. The fingerprints of three people were found in the room which contained valuable works of art. These were not taken. Police suspect that the theft was an inside job.
