New exhibit at the Getty on Titian and Alfonso d'Avalos

"Titian and the Commander: A Renaissance Artist and His Patron" will be on display at the Getty, in Los Angeles, through February 5.

The exhibit presents a close look at Titian's "Portrait of Alfonso d'Avalos, Marquis of Vasto, in Armor with a Page," as well as his "Penitent Magdalene" and "Allocution of Alfonso d'Avalos," and contemporary illustrated books from the Getty's collections.
