A Simple Day of Fun

On the 15th of October, come help us welcome potential new members of the SCA with the most seductive fun we can possibly manage! For the day's (and evening's) entertainment, we have reserved the beautiful, medieval Marstall and castle grounds in the historic old city of Steinheim (Hanau). During the day, we will be hosting a rose tournament for both heavy and light combatants. In between those activities, there may also be dancing to keep hearts light and fit! In the evening, we will have a potluck feast. We ask that people attempt to prepare and bring a medieval dish to share (for eight people or more), but if you bring something more modern, we will certainly not refuse your contribution. Following (and possibly somewhat during) the evening meal, we will engage in dancing, gaming, and general medieval revelry into the night. Site is discretely wet (no original containers). A lunch of bread and soup will be provided. For all of this fun in a wonderful ambience, we are only charging 4 EUROs per person; children under 12 pay 2 EUROs, and we have a family cap of 10 EUROs. This is a day event, but crash space can be easily arranged. Please contact Judith de Northumbria if you need a place to stay.

To help us plan for food, it would be great if you could send a reservation... Site opens at 10am. Activities will start around 11am. Site closes late.
