Exhibit on sculpture of 15th century Florence on display at the National Gallery

"Monumental Sculpture from Renaissance Florence: Ghiberti, Nanni di Banco, and Verrochio at Orsanmichele" will be on display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, through December 31.

Ghiberti's St. Matthew, Nanni di Banco's Quattro Santi Coronati, and Verrochio's Christ and St. Thomas, originally created for the exterior of Orsanmichele in Florence, are on display at the National Gallery marking the completion of their restoration.

This exhibit is the first time that major works by Ghiberti and Nanni di Banco have traveled to the United States.
