Atlantians Raise Over $3,000 for the American Red Cross

Kynnyth Pyke reports that over $3,000 was raised for the American Red Cross at the recent Masters of Defense Tourney held in the Barony of Lochmere. Part of the total was raised thanks to matching contributions from Lowes.

Kynnyth Pyke writes:

The results are in from the fund raising efforts at Lochmere's Masters of Defense Tournament. Here are the numbers: The funds by activity:
  • Donations at the door: $224
  • Donations by the Challengers: $380
  • Donations by the Defenders: $675
  • Donations at the Bake Sale: $367
  • Additional Donations: $470
  • Total: $2116

The funds were distributed as follows:

  • Donations to the ARC via Lowes: $1325
  • Donations to the ARC via check: $224
  • Donations to the ARC by pledge: $567
  • Total: $2116

Which means that our efforts, combined with Lowes pledged matching of funds contributed at their stores has resulted in:

  • Donations to the ARC via Lowes: $1325
  • Matched donations by Lowes: $1325
  • Donations to the ARC via check: $224
  • Donations to the ARC by pledge: $567
  • Total: $3,441

Three thousand, four hundered and fourty one dollars! I'm sure by this point my thanks don't count for much, given how much good was done this past weekend. But for what its worth, I'd like to thank everyone who gave of their time, money, wisdom and prowess. There were bunches of people who pulled together, and I'm sure all are weary but proud today.

Vivat!

Kynny
