Clother's Guild to Collect Garb for Meridies

Katharine Devereaux, St. Anne's Clothier's Guild Mistress, has announced that the Guild will collect garb, cloth and sewing supplies to be sent to SCA members affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Katharine Devereaux writes:

To help out those of our cousins from Glenn Abhann and other SCA members that have lost most or all of their possions due to hurricane Katrina, The Saint Anne's Clothiers Guild will be collecting completed ready to wear garb/historical clothing, fabric, and sewing stuff that will be sent an organizing group near the disaster region that will be the distributers of these goods.

Beginning this weekend at Coronation, please bring clothing/garb/fabric/sewing supplies that you feel will benefit those SCA members that are in need. If you do not have stuff to donate, could you please donate some money to help with the shipping costs?

For the next few weeks, I will be sending updates to the Merry Rose and Clothiers Guild with more information as I have it.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at

Thank you for your kindness during this devestating time.
