Roman Coins On Display in Sydney

Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia will play host to a display of rare Roman coins from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gale. Researchers of early time periods will be given a treat if they visit Sydney's Macquarie University. The coin collection of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gale, consisting of 2500 rare coins, is currently on loan to the university. The collection consists of three parts: coins from the Greek cities of southern Italy, Coins from the Roman Republic and Imperial Roman coins from the time of Hadrian.
