"Italy's Most Beautiful Garden" to be Restored

The Gardens of Ninfa, once thought to be one of the most beautiful in Italy, are being restored, thanks to the efforts of three generations of women.

While the medieval town of Ninfa was abandoned over 600 years ago, the ruins of its medieval structures survived and became the artistic subject of painter Ada Wilbraham, who added plants to enhance the beauty. The result was the beginning of a beautiful garden, the dream of which has been carried on by two more generations of women.
