Classy Cooks: Couple prepares a feast with Middle Ages flavor

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports on an SCA feast prepared by Paul Byers, known in the SCA as Baron Pavel Yosevich, and provides his recipes for a honey saffron tart, crusted roast, and spiced pine nut candy.

"You're under our roof and we love hospitality," explained Pavel. "That's both a medieval thing and a Southern thing. If I wasn't hospitable, my mother would crawl out of her grave and snatch me bald."
