Favors and tokens have been a part of the tourney since its beginning In that tradition all fighters entering the list must bear the favor one who inspires them. Once again we ask fighters to bring a small shield to display upon our list tree, that your progress in the tourney might show all your devotion to your love. A Pas de Arms for heavy fighters will follow the tourney where champions and those they champion may issue and receive challenges for loves sake with choice of weapons and a barrier for added fun. Fencers will find a tourney to challenge the keenness of both wit and blade and by back popular demand the "Pearls and Rouges Tourney"
Arts & Sciences!
But what good is battle fame with no way to show its inspiration. To that end our A&S competion entries are to be dedicated to, inspired by or presented for acts of love or inspiration. Items included but not limited to favors, letters, scrolls, tokens and trophies. We will also have a bardic competition with period styled performances dedicated to or about courtly love or the deeds inspired by. Because of the amount of foot traffic the park gets, we are including interactive A&S Displays. If you have an activity that would would like to show or teach please contact the Mistress of A&S, Lady Theodora Quennell,to coordinate the space needed at email@example.com.
Merchants are welcome to bring their tents and tables and set up at no additional cost. On Saturday the park is open to the public and high foot traffic is expected.
